Dainty Floral Escort Cards with a Vintage Vibe & Other Fun

Hello all! It is an exciting week at Trisha Dean Events - first off, I am styling a shoot for the fabulous Meg Sexton of Meg Sexton Photography and I can't wait to share with you what I know will be crazy cool photos. And in other big news, I am now a contributing blogger to the nifty Bay Area Bride Guide! Look for my post on Tuesdays, but be sure to zip around the whole blog as the other peeps I write with are equally rad, and have great things to share about Weddings in the Bay Area.

I hope you were able to take some time off over the holiday weekend, relax and enjoy a little bit of summer sunshine today! My lil' fam made an unexpected to trip to wine country and I could not be happier! As I was watching the sun sink on the hotel deck and surfing the net while the bebe napped, I did what I like to call web stumbling. I cruised to Sarah Yates site cause I like her lots. And I found that she had been "snagged" for Hitched - which is a way cool looking wedding event in So Cal this September. They have some amazing vendors lined up, so brides and grooms if you are in the area you should check it out!

While searching through some of the amazing industry peeps that Hitched will be showcasing, I then stumbled upon Duet Weddings and their blog. The first wedding on the blog is a stunner! I wanted to share with you the dainty nightstand and sweet floral arrangement that were used for escort cards.

The flowers are by Modern Day Design - isn't this a great way for your guests to find their table? And what an adorable keepsake for them, from your wedding. Loving the calligraphy detail as well. All around good stuff.

Chat with you Wednesday! And don't forget to check out my Tuesday post on the Bay Area Bride Guide!

xoxo
Trisha

  2. First of all, congrats on the shoot and on the contributing blogger position! I truly admire fellow event planners who are always ready to learn and grow in this field.

On a side note, I love that escort 'card' idea! You wouldn't even have to put centerpieces on the table, as each guest's flower would add up to one big table of awesomeness. Brilliant!
