Moment in Time - Bay Area Wedding Photographer

They say, a picture is worth a thousand words - but when I saw this photo by Matthew May Photography - I was speechless. I love that he was able to capture so much sweetness in a moment on a city street. And that dress, how incredible is that dress! I want to put it on and dance in it for hours! This couple shared a gorgeous wedding with the help of the amazingly talented Kathyrn of Dream a Little Dream Events. Please check out more photos on Matthew May's blog here!

As for us, we are catching up from an fabulous wedding weekend and getting ready to launch into our next one up in Tahoe!

Happy Monday!

The Perfect Chocolate Brown - Wedding Dress Sash Love

What happened to Sunday Funday?! I had a blah Sunday. Don't fault me for not trying, oh I did. I made an effort to clean, and when that didn't work, I then went to relax in the sun, and then when THAT didn't work, I gave up and went shopping. And still found nothing. I am searching for that perfect black dress that we all long for - the one you can dress up and down and wear on any occasion and feel amazing.

So of course, now you are scrolling down to see which stunning little black dress I am coveting that I found over the net. Well, I haven't seen a thing! So friends, if you have any good leads for me, PUH-LEASE send them my way.

Instead, to try and put some happiness back in my day, I hit up some of my favorite blogs...

For those of you who have been following for a while you know how madly in love I am with Sarah Yates and her photos. In the attempt to turn my day around, I found her lovely post (and then even more over on 100 Layer Cake) and something about this bride's dress just struck a cord with me.

The brown sash did it - the color - the perfect rich chocolate - just made my day.

Love the naked wood tables and simple runner, the white peaches, golden nectarines, and the pretty pastels of the floral decor. So gorgeous!

I'm hoping when you read this on Monday that your day is going fantastic and the little brown sash makes you smile too!

The Stunning & Adorable Amy & Jeph - Holman Ranch - Anna Kuperberg

Hi All! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. I really wish the weather would get warmer - I feel like we are still in Spring! Bring me my 90 degree days - give me the reason I left the cold SF summers for the heat of suburbia! OK enough of my whining about the lack of heat.

Back in May, I got to be a guest (so much fun!!) at my lovely friend Amy's wedding. She married the bestest guy ever Jeph, and they are super duper cute together. The infamous Anna Kuperberg shot the wedding which was at Holman Ranch in Carmel and she posted some of the pictures on her blog the other day and I have to share! Amy and Jeph had a ton of do-it-themselves decor which was jaw dropping amazing. I'm sure you will see it in all its glory on a super famous wedding mag or blog soon.

I also got to help a little (I was the official shuttle guru) and meet the wonderful Amy Byrd of Amy Byrd Weddings. All of the vendors did an amazing job, especially Lila B. who just does beautiful florals.

But here are a few of my favorites that just melted my heart a little.
Aren't they gorgeous??

Can't wait for you all to see more! Hope you are having a great Monday and that the sun is warmly shining down on you.

xoxo

The Black & White Dance Floor - Vince Tarry Studios

I wanted to share one of my all time favorite images by Vince at Vince Tarry Studios. A bride and groom lost in each other during their first dance. The black and white dance floor creates such a stunning and sophisticated backdrop. Makes your heart melt just a little. And that dress! Custom made by Suzanne Hanley at Atelier Des Modistes on Hyde Street in San Francisco. I can guarantee that it was even more amazing in person. Happy Monday!
