Fav Finds + Flower Friday: The Bride's Cafe + Janie Medley Flora Design

Another fabulous wedding blog is The Bride's Cafe. I love the weddings, engagement sessions and DIY projects that Janie feautres on her blog - but did you also know what a talented floral designer she is? I am loving this summer bouquet that she featured yesterday - and she must heart it too as I think I noticed she's holding it in her adorable blog intro shots.

Fav Finds + Flower Friday: Hot Pink and Silver Love

Just when I think I have found THE most stunning bouquet ever another one bops me in the face - which is great for all my reader friends since it means I have another gorgeous find for Flower Friday! So let me warn you - this bouquet literally, had my jaw dropping. In fact the whole shoot had me squealing. The lovely ladies behind Nonpareil Magazine don't just get it, they REALLY get it.

Here it is in all it's loveliness!! The shoot concept and styling were by The Stylish Soirée, floral design by Christine Le of Pink Lincoln Designs and shot by Meg Perotti - it takes my breath away. This has to be my fav flower combo ever. Ever. I actually printed this as large as possible and have it hanging in my office on my inspiration board. Ok enough rambling about it...here 'tis!

To DIE for right!? So darn pretty.

Ok, it's been a crazy hectic week here at Trisha Dean Events and I am loving that it is Friday, so happy weekend and check out my Fav Finds from the week!

Rustic Summer Berry Brights: Pink & Red Wedding Details

The heat was cranked way up out in my neck of the woods today and it reminded me of the warm outdoors - days full of bright red strawberries, pink watermelons and orange sunsets.

I dreamt of a rustic outdoor wedding with barn dancing and happy white lights. Dessert was a pink whoopie pie washed down with a mason jar full of strawberry lemonade. And as I rubbed my dancing feet on the way home from the fun, I clutched my fabulous wedding favor - homemade raspberry jam - and I couldn't wait for tomorrow morning's warm fresh scones.

Today's post is in honor of summer and all of its fabulous bright happiness!

Brian and Kacey - Calistoga Wedding

Brian and Kacey tied the knot back in June at a private estate in Calistoga. This couple, along with their families, were amazing to work with. I can't tell you how much fun I had planning with them the year leading up to the wedding. Take a peek at how the bright summer colors accented with the chocolate brown worked so well with the lush green vineyard backdrop.

One of my favorite elements was the photographer, Kate Nagle, who created an area during the reception where all of the guests could step into a "photobooth" -- a large cardboard cutout that acted as the frame for the photo. She provided the best dress up pieces - fedoras, sunglasses, wigs and boas to name a few, and had guests pose. The images came out fantastic! Brian and Kacey had great snapshots of all of their guests and Kate had a quick form to gather email addresses so that guests could order photos after the wedding.

We did welcome in quite the heat wave that week, and the day reached temperatures of about 102. The best part of the evening was the dance floor that was surrounded the crystal blue pool so at any moment guests could kick off their heels and cool off when needed.

What I loved most about this wedding was how family focused and truly fun the ceremony and reception were. From the bride's dog as the ring bearer to one of the best father daughter dances I have witnessed, this night was all about the guests being welcomed as part of the family.

The happy couple!

The Bride and her Maids - the tea length dresses had chocolate colored sashes.

The ceremony site - on the other side of the white fence are rows and rows of vineyards.

The dapper men head to the ceremony.

Kacey's golden retriever wore the rings tied to her back on the above fabric "saddle." In the processional, Kacey's mom walked the pup down the aisle to deliver the rings to the bride and groom.

On the other side of the wine bottle, the back label is a photo of Brian and Kacey. Each bottle or table number, had a different image from their engagement session.

One of my favorite shots of the day.

White lights make any party automatically festive and fun in my mind.

The bride and groom in the photobooth.

It was an incredibly perfect summer wedding. Thank you to Kacey, Brian and their families for letting me take part in their big day.
