Fav Finds + Flower Friday: Yellow Flower Pots and Berries

Another summer week has flown by! This Flower Friday is a bit different from past Flower Fridays in that I want to showcase this neato idea I found over on Green Wedding Shoes - one of my favorite blogs - and then realized the floral designer was the fabulous Carissa of JL Designs! A win win! This bride was married down south and look what she did! How fun are the maids with their potted bright yellow marigolds instead of traditional bouquets!?

Doesn't it look great?

And I am really lovin' the groom's boutonniere! So darn snazzy with the berries!

My fav finds these week are all real weddings! Take a peek at some fabulousness:

Fav Finds + Flower Friday: A Simple Ceremony

This Flower Friday find from Melissa at A Simple Ceremony made me giggle at first...but on second thought I realized it was an ingenious idea to dress up some not so fabulous restroom situations. There is a fantastic venue in the Marin Headlands where I once had to really spread the love around the bathrooms to make them guest friendly and this little trick would have worked perfectly!

And of course, here are my favorite finds this week. Enjoy and happy weekend!

In love with the paper at this real wedding!

Flower Friday: Holly Chapple Flowers - Pretty in Pink

The first week of May flew by! My little one turned 4 months old, fab margs were had while celebrating Cinco De Mayo and another sunny Friday is here. I have been wanting to share some of my favorite finds from around the blog world, so I am going to post them at the end of Flower Fridays posts. Hope you enjoy this new little feature! Now on to the loveliness...

I've been checking out Holly Chapple's blog The Full Bouquet lately and am loving her floral design. Her blog is a great read so check it out. She recently did a wedding with a focus on baby's breath - seriously some of the most adorable boutonnieres and an amazing kissing ball. This bouquet jumped out at me and I just had to post. It immediately made me happy with it's full bright pink peonies, roses, ranunculus and sassy hypercium berries.

Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. Enjoy and Happy Weekend!

My Favorites - Vintage Inspired Wedding and Cupcakes

I made two new friends in the wedding blog world over the last few weeks. These gals were very generous with their time in answering some blog questions for me and I am so grateful. I really admire their blogs so I thought I would share with you some of their recent posts.

The first is from Green Wedding Shoes. This is a real wedding she featured yesterday which I just can't get enough of. A vintage backyard wedding with details that are to die for. The doors, the windows, the chairs - oh my! Chandeliers swaying in trees and the color yellow. We all know how I feel about the color yellow. The talented Dana Grant snapped the photos of this adorable couple on their big day. Below are just a few photos, please click here to see more fabulousness.

The next post is from The Inspired Bride from earlier this month. It featured these amazing cupcakes with super stylin' edible frosting from Hello Frosting. This is such a great way to personalize your dessert display without huge dollar signs.

Thank you again to both ladies for their insights!

Walking on Sunshine - Yellow Wedding Fun

I just can't stop my love affair with all things yellow. I am summertime girl, Spring is nice but bring on the heat. In the quest for great photos I found the above image by Natalie Moser and it made me grin. So forgive me, but I am posting about all sorts of fun yellow finds that make me smile and think there's only a few more months til Summer.
