I had the fabulous pleasure of working with Mary McHenry this weekend and in our chats throughout the day, she let me know of this amazing place, a barn in fact, in Petaluma that was an amazing, amazing venue. I took a quick peek over at her blog and fell head over heels in love with Chileno Valley Ranch.

Wedding Decor - Lovely Location - Rustic and Romance

Hope you are all handling your candy hangovers with dignity and grace. I want to share a gorgeous photo to kick off your November.

Location, location, location! Loving this romantic and rustic reception room. Very barn like and you know how I love those darn barns. The colors of the room are reflected across everything and then fun pops of green and it all works. The ribbons, the fireplace, the hay bales and the lanterns - really good stuff. Check out those table legs - the fun reverse situation?!

Rustic Summer Berry Brights: Pink & Red Wedding Details

The heat was cranked way up out in my neck of the woods today and it reminded me of the warm outdoors - days full of bright red strawberries, pink watermelons and orange sunsets.

I dreamt of a rustic outdoor wedding with barn dancing and happy white lights. Dessert was a pink whoopie pie washed down with a mason jar full of strawberry lemonade. And as I rubbed my dancing feet on the way home from the fun, I clutched my fabulous wedding favor - homemade raspberry jam - and I couldn't wait for tomorrow morning's warm fresh scones.
